Q. Here with Justin Thomas and Jackson Koivun. Not too long ago you were a rookie in these events. You had an opportunity being the veteran. What was it like winning this point with Jackson Koivun?

JUSTIN THOMAS: It was fun to be out there with him and doing his thing. He's really impressive to watch, and I'm really happy he's on my team. Yeah, it was cool to watch him do his thing out there and show up in some pretty big moments.

Q. Jackson, you got your first official point for Team USA. What were the nerves like today?

JACKSON KOIVUN: It was great. Anytime you can put up a point for Team USA, it's good. First two holes definitely a little shaky, but after that kind of found a groove. Me and JT, we played really well out there.

He picked me up when I didn't play too hot, so thankful for that, but we had a fun time.

Q. JT, the driver set the tone for you in this match, but really best ball in the Presidents Cup, you just moved to 7-0. What is it about this format that lends well to your game?

JUSTIN THOMAS: That's sweet. I did not know that. Good partners is a great start. I don't know, man. Match play is a bizarre thing. Some matches you just get away with some, and I've played great with some great partners, and I'm happy we got a point today. That's all that matters.
