Q. How would you describe the team atmosphere in one word?

RYO HISATSUNE: It's to be more connected and just be more connect.

Q. Who is your favorite swing on the team?

RYO HISATSUNE: Maybe Si Woo. That swing is so pure.

Q. I have some old photos of your teammates and I'm wondering if you could guess who they are.

RYO HISATSUNE: Definitely Asian, so, Si Woo? Hideki?

RYO HISATSUNE: Oh really, wow.

RYO HISATSUNE: Corey?

RYO HISATSUNE: Yeah?

RYO HISATSUNE: Bezi? Adam?

RYO HISATSUNE: Oh, make the next one is definitely, oh, who is that? Maybe Korean, like maybe Sungjae?

RYO HISATSUNE: That's Bezi.

RYO HISATSUNE: Yeah. (Laughing).

Q. The possibility of playing with Hideki in this event?

RYO HISATSUNE: I hope so, yeah.

Q. Is that exciting?

RYO HISATSUNE: Yeah, it's pretty exciting, especially like I know Hideki I followed him in junior, and then like for a long time. And then especially in the Presidents Cup, same thing. And it could be play together that's my dream so, yeah.

Q. Do you think you would be more nervous playing with Hideki or do you feel comfortable because you played so much together?

RYO HISATSUNE: Be more comfortable, especially like more trust with Hideki. Like, he's more brave in himself as well, so like, yeah, much more comfortable.

Q. We have seen someone like Si Woo or Tom, they're very animated, they celebrate a bunch. Do you feel like you're going to be the same way? Do you feel like you're going to be a little quieter?

RYO HISATSUNE: For me a little bit more quiet side. So I try more to be a little excited, but I will just be a little more calm than more excited this week.

Q. I know that the International Team, Geoff, Trevor, for a long time you guys do dinners throughout the year. Do you remember when you were first kind of talking to them, could have been a couple years ago, when did you kind of feel like you were part of the ecosystem?

RYO HISATSUNE: Oh, yeah, especially like in the International Team, like almost every country is different. Different cultures, different part of the team. This year, some dinners we talk more to each other. A lot of the Australians, like the captain is also an Australian, so that place is like amazing. So, yeah, it will be fun.

Q. You've had an awesome year. What part of your game do you think is best for this golf course that we're going to see out here?

RYO HISATSUNE: Especially this golf course is a bit longer than other golf courses. So that's a strong point of mine off the tee shot and finding the fairway. And the greens are also wide and have more possibility to make a birdie. But I don't think no crazy low score on that golf course. Some holes are more makeable, but some holes are slightly very hard on the golf course. So, yeah, I mean, I try to have the tee shot is my strong point and more find the fairway, get more pressure, yeah.

Q. Do you think there's a type of player, a type of partner that might be better for you? Somebody who hits it -- do you want to play with somebody who hits it long, somebody who putts really well, what type of teammate are you looking for?

RYO HISATSUNE: For me, like especially like more putting well. Also try to have a similar game plan. Maybe a short guy. You know, Hideki is a great short guy too. So I like the more, I can't imagine like a more easy feeling. So like, yeah, maybe more, look for the short guy, yeah.

Q. Who is most likely to be late to the bus this week?

RYO HISATSUNE: Twice maybe Nico. Not today, but, yeah.

Q. Who has the most energy in the team room?

RYO HISATSUNE: Tom. Tom Kim, yeah.

Q. Who is the most competitive?

RYO HISATSUNE: Maybe Adam.

Q. Who is the best dressed?

RYO HISATSUNE: Also Adam.

Q. Who is the biggest trash talker?

RYO HISATSUNE: Maybe Nico or Si Woo. That group.

Q. Early on the bus or later on the bus?

RYO HISATSUNE: Like in the middle. Yeah, just between the start, yeah.

Q. Do you prefer practice rounds with guys --

RYO HISATSUNE: Practice round, yeah.

Q. Driver or putter?

RYO HISATSUNE: Driver.

Q. Match play or stroke play?

RYO HISATSUNE: I like stroke play. It's too much pressure sometimes.

Q. Do you like a morning tee time or an afternoon tee time?

RYO HISATSUNE: I don't care. Both is fine.

Q. Everybody talks a lot about you drinking water. When did that start?

RYO HISATSUNE: Maybe five years ago. Especially since I was in Japan, and then I was feeling some pressure and like a little shaky hand, and that makes me more calm. That's all my caddie, to have just a reset with just a small sip of the water.

Q. Is that kind of, that's like the one thing you're really known for right now. What else should we know about you?

RYO HISATSUNE: Yeah, that's just more my routine. Just a few things there. So, yeah, that's just my routine.

Q. What's been your favorite part of being in the team room so far?

RYO HISATSUNE: Oh, it's so fun. There's a lot of energy. It's my first time in that team event, so also like Nico, Min Woo, it's more laughing, it's definitely a more fun time this week.

Q. What is your, in your first year on Tour, what has been the favorite restaurant you've been to all year?

RYO HISATSUNE: I like Chipotle, yeah. Some American food there, yeah. I think that's the best restaurant in the world. Everywhere, same quality. (Laughing). I'm a rice guy.

Q. How many Japanese restaurants do you go to, a lot?

RYO HISATSUNE: Yeah, it's a lot, yeah. Yeah. Especially like maybe Chicago they have a lot of restaurants but maybe hard to get right now.

Q. Have you ever gone to a Japanese restaurant in the United States and somebody knew who you were?

RYO HISATSUNE: Not really.
