THE MODERATOR: Thank you for attending the press conference of Team Spain.

Carla, how have your preparations been so far? How is the team spirit?

CAPTAIN SUAREZ NAVARRO: Well, definitely we are here really, really happy for us. For me is I think really difficult to be in the Finals, really good teams. We are already know the court, the city from last year. We are trying to practice, also to work in our best way to be in a good position for the competition, for the match.

Of course, we need also two more players that are coming. But Marina, Jessica, Sara, they are working good, they are working hard.

Also is difficult with the time that they were last week, the jet lag. Sometimes it's not really easy. We are happy to be here. I think we will be ready for the match.

THE MODERATOR: Sara, you have played this competition many times. What do you think is your biggest strength and the Spanish team?

SARA SORRIBES TORMO: I think our best thing is that we are very good team. Everyone is doing everything as good as possible. We want the best for the team. I think that's what make us totally difficult many times. That's why I think Spain is a very good team.

Hopefully they can help us to become, well, if not champions, close.

THE MODERATOR: We'll take questions in English first, please.

Q. Carla, you came here a bit like an underdog team. You have the example of the Spanish Davis Cup last year in Bologna was underdog. How much of a motivation would this be for you? How will it be difficult for the other players to try to adapt to the time zone and the courts at the last minute?

CAPTAIN SUAREZ NAVARRO: I think we are really motivated. We want to win the championship. That's it. I know what our mens are doing last year. We were really happy for them. Yeah, we are also trying to be in the Final this year.

Of course, is tough because already I don't have all the team. The circumstance are like this. We are trying to practice and working with what we have.

Q. What tells you that a city truly understand and welcome international athletes? What have you noticed in Shenzhen?

JESSICA BOUZAS MANEIRO: I think it's really good for us to come here to Shenzhen. I think all the fans are really nice with us, with all the teams. I think they're super respectful.

It's super nice to play in stadiums like this, in this country. I'm super excited to be back here. All the people around are super nice with us.

Yeah, I think for us is really good to feel that for our tennis to do the best, try to do a good spectacle or something like that. I think it's really good for us and we are super grateful.

Q. Jessica, I think you only started playing BJK Cup last year. I wanted to know your thoughts on how different it is to play as part of a team, playing for Team Spain, as compared to playing for yourself as an individual on the tour?

JESSICA BOUZAS MANEIRO: Yeah, in these weeks I really enjoy it because is such a different week for us that we are playing, like, alone the rest of the year. I really think that we have a good teammates. We have a good relationship between us. For me, in my case personally, I really like it. I enjoy it a lot.

I'm trying to talk to them, learn about them. You have more people by your side. That's really good for us for playing and for being here and enjoy this week because I think that's the main point, trying to enjoy it and do it our best.
