Q. Birdie at the last to tie the lead. Just talk us through how pleased you are with that performance today.

MANUEL ELVIRA: I'm really pleased. I played really well. I missed some tee shots and get away with some really nice pars, and when I had chances to make the birdies, I took advantage of them. Really pleased with the 68.

Q. Incredibly tough with the winds coming from every which way, hard to predict and read. Very difficult golf course but fabulous spirit at the Flagship Event. How much were you able to enjoy the battle out there today?

MANUEL ELVIRA: It's really incredible. The crowds are nice. They are supporting everybody, even not the best of shots. It's fun. Like you said, the wind was a bit tricky. I just had to manage to play more conservative targets, I would say, and then when I would have wedges, I just tried to be aggressive and take advantage of them.

Q. How fun is that closing stretch? So exciting for the fans. We have come to love the drama and excitement that can unfold in those final three holes. For you as a player, what fun is it and what have you learned about where you can really push into this golf course to take into tomorrow?

MANUEL ELVIRA: I would say especially with this wind, it's a bit easier in the final few holes because it's downwind, so you can take a bit more advantage of it. You can play 3-wood off the tee and still have a wedge in. So yeah, it's fun. You have a lot of chances and I'm sure that people are taking advantage of it.

Q. Tomorrow you have the opportunity to win not any old event, Flagship Event. How ready do you feel for this?

MANUEL ELVIRA: I think I'm ready. I've been playing well the last few weeks. Obviously the results were not really coming my way but I just managed to stay patient this week and just have fun.
