Q. Fabulous round from you around this course. Is it relief to bring another good round of golf today?

FILIPPO CELLI: I mean, yes, very. Now, yes. It was a long day, wind today, not easy. So I'm very proud of how I handled the situations. I had a bogey on first, and then a couple of opportunities in the next few holes that didn't went well. I'm just very happy that I was very patient on the course today. It's what I wanted to do, being patient on a day like this. I'm very happy.

Q. How tricky are the winds out there? I'm not quite sure it's coming across on TV but you're all talking about the challenge that it's bringing.

FILIPPO CELLI: Yeah, I mean, it's very tricky because some holes, you can feel the wind a bit differently while you're standing on the ball. So it can change a little bit. But most important thing to do is like just trust what we feel and be committed. Control the things that we can.

Q. From your perspective, as a European player, how important and satisfying is it to be contending here in this tournament?

FILIPPO CELLI: I mean, it's lovely. As I said yesterday, it's a lovely place. I love it so much. So it's very cool, I have to be honest. And going out there tomorrow is going to be very fun.

Q. Will you embrace it at all? Will you be able to enjoy it?

FILIPPO CELLI: Yeah, I will try. I will try to be in the present, you know, and try to enjoy every single minute and see what happens.

Q. A 69 on a very tough day. Talk us through how pleased you are with that performance.

FILIPPO CELLI: I'm very happy because today it was very tough. It was windy, tricky out there. So I'm happy how I handled life's situation out there. Sometimes the wind changed a bit so it wasn't easy. I was very patient through the front nine because I knew that on the back nine, I could have like more chances to make some birdies. And I'm very happy that this is what I've done. So I'm proud.

Q. Talk us through how you were judging the wind out there? Because I know it was difficult for all the players and the leaderboard was jumping all over the place. It's a very difficult course at the best of time but today it played some of the toughest we've ever seen. How were you managing that situation?

FILIPPO CELLI: I mean, I just try to, with my caddie, to trust what we see what we feel. There is not much that we can do more than this. We just try to be committed on what we have judged and hit the shot.

Q. Only 26 years old, tomorrow a big day ahead. You have the opportunity to win the Flagship Event. How excited are you for the day?

FILIPPO CELLI: I mean, I can't wait, honestly, because it's going to be very good. But now I just want to rest because I'm very tired. I will think about tomorrow, tomorrow. I'm very happy, though.
