Q. Never easy, is it, when you're in a match that goes all the way to the 18th and it doesn't go your way. Rose, I've got to ask about that shot there from the bunker. What were you trying to do and what was the philosophy there?
ROSE ZHANG: Yeah, for sure. We saw Leona in a really good position and honestly couldn't really get to the pin just because I have a downhill lie, but went for it. No regrets. But, yeah, it was a little bit of a tough shot and just didn't pull a heroic one there.
Q. When you look back at the match as a whole, where do you feel it kind of didn't go your way?
JENNIFER KUPCHO: Honestly, nowhere. I feel like we played really good golf. I feel like we played a really good match. Yeah, it didn't go our way, but I think we have a lot of positives to come out of it with.
Q. Tell me what those positives are.
JENNIFER KUPCHO: I think we're both hitting the ball well. She's rolling the putter, like, amazing. So I think she's making a lot of putts. I think I'm putting a lot of good rolls on it. So they're going to start falling. We just got to be patient for it.
Q. Rose, I think you get the chance to play this afternoon against Leona, not together. How much do you relish going out and earning a point for the Americans?
ROSE ZHANG: I think it will be exciting. She's pretty red hot right now, and so I'm ready to go out there and take a second chance at it.
Q. Jennifer, what do you take into this afternoon?
JENNIFER KUPCHO: Yeah, I think I'll just keep going and playing my game. I'm hitting the ball into the greens really well. So maybe go hit a few drivers on the range and get it straightened out and I'll be good to go.
