TV Interview
Q. Angela, amazing seeing the difference between Anna and yourself here having watched those last two holes of this match. You said that this was going to be a very important session. How important were those two putts?
ANGELA STANFORD: That was huge. I mean, that absolutely turned our tide. And I thought, Okay, if we get out of here at 7-9 we still have a chance. And then I thought, Okay, 7 and a half, to 8 and a half, that's better. But this is, that was, that turned the tide.
Q. Have you ever seen anything like that in all of your Solheim Cup experience?
ANGELA STANFORD: No, not back-to-back like that, never. Yeah. That's pretty special.
Q. It was fun to watch for the American fans, and it silenced the European fans here who have been very, very boisterous. That will be important going into tomorrow, I'm sure for your team.
ANGELA STANFORD: Yeah, and I don't think those players know what they just did. I mean Kupcho, look, she's had a tough couple days, her two matches have been tough. Today they were down, but she's a fighter, I've said that all along. Now, was that pretty special 93 feet? Yeah. But to drop it here, to hit the fairway, hit the shot, especially after the tee shot she hit yesterday here, I just, she just doesn't give up, and she's a fighter. Now her team has seen that in person and they knew it but then when you see it and they're just, it's awesome.
Q. I asked the same question to Anna, I won't obviously ask you about your singles lineup, but will you stick with your same game plan that you in mind going into tomorrow or are you going to change it?
ANGELA STANFORD: Yeah, I mean, I had a couple different versions that I was looking at, I had, so we're going to be somewhere in the middle of that, yeah.
