THE MODERATOR: Anna, how would you assess the day? Obviously, a great morning and then this afternoon still going in even heading into tomorrow.

ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, I mean, overall, it's a day. Also being 4-4, we've seen so much good play. All the girls fought to the end and that's all I can really ask for. So I think we're all excited for tomorrow. We know anything can happen in the singles, and it's been a long journey to get here, but I think this is golf at its best and we can't wait for tomorrow.

THE MODERATOR: Just a word on your fellow Swedes, Linn Grant and Maja Stark, who obviously performed so well today.

ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, I mean, I've known them for a while and I know they play really well together, so it was fun to see those two back in action. I haven't seen much other matches because they have been flying, so I kind of left them alone and Caroline Hedwall has been walking with their matches. But it's nice see the points they put on the board and the level of play they performed this week.

THE MODERATOR: And heading into tomorrow, is there anything that you've told the team ahead of Sunday singles?

ANNA NORDQVIST: No. I mean, I think we've had a good plan all week, sticking to it. I think the atmosphere in the team room's been amazing all week. We've done a lot of preparations. So, yeah, I mean, you create an environment for the players to go out and thrive in. We've had an amazing team of helpers and everyone around the players keeping the spirits and making it possible for the players to just focus on the golf. So I think we're all excited. Tomorrow is going to be another long day, but this is the moments that we live for.

THE MODERATOR: Open up the floor to questions.

Q. There was a lot of kind of switching up with your four-ball pairings this afternoon. Was that all part of the plan or was there anything that you could have done differently looking back at it?

ANNA NORDQVIST: No, I mean, we had a really good plan going into the week. And I had a good idea what I was going to do. So, yeah, no, there wasn't really much switching in my mind going on. I feel like we had a lot of good players. They just played better. All in all it's a day. We're going into tomorrow 8-8.

Q. Have you ever seen anything like what Jennifer did on 17 and 18? And how do you talk to your team about that and what was their kind of feeling after that?

ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, I mean, we know anything can happen in match play. I think Bernardus is a really good match play because we have seen a lot of things happen on 15, 16, 17, 18. There's some tough shots under a lot of pressure. Carlota, obviously, holed a really great putt yesterday to give us a great tie there on the last. And I mean, the putts -- you have the first hole and, I mean, it's amazing putts. There's not much you can say. I'm really proud of my girls for battling to the end.

And, like we said, it's 12 more singles tomorrow and I'm really proud of my girls and we're very excited about tomorrow.

Q. Do you feel like the momentum that the U.S. had at the end of the day is something that carries on for a while or do you feel like the message you can give them fits that?

ANNA NORDQVIST: I think our biggest momentum this week has been the crowds. It's been unbelievable to see so many people. The atmosphere on that first tee box has been amazing all week. I never really had the opportunity, obviously, to experience for such an extended time, but I think what they have accomplished this year here at Bernardus has been quite amazing, just having all those songs being sung and the players involved. I had four players not playing this afternoon, Nanna, Julia, Esther, and Mimi, and they were amazing. They were loving it. They were up in the stands. They were handing out, like, those, whatever, the sunflower or the tulips.

So they were really bringing that atmosphere and being really good teammates. So I think that's going to be one of our biggest keys this is week and that's the momentum that can carry us through because just knowing that so many people come to support us from near and far this week means so much to us.

Q. Just some general comments on your lineup for tomorrow, Charley first, Celine last. Just your general overall thinking on your lineup.

ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, I mean, Charley started us out in Washington and we know all that Charley -- Charley's been great -- playing great for the last two days. She really hasn't holed any putts. I watched her match today, this afternoon, for quite a few holes, and I mean, she's right there where she needs to be. But it's just that little bit of momentum that we all know is so important in the matches.

So I have full confidence in her going out tomorrow, and I don't think she really has anything to prove because we know all of what a great player she is. Celine Boutier, we know she can handle pressure. She's a major champion. So that was a pretty obvious to go last because going into tomorrow it's obviously tied, I think it's going to be a tight game tomorrow and if the pressure comes down to the last game, we know she has what it takes.

Q. What's the one aspect of Charley and Lottie's game that you feel like needs to improve for tomorrow for them to get two points? And at the same time, how much confidence do you even really need to inject into them going into tomorrow?

ANNA NORDQVIST: I think a lot of it is just for them to keep doing what they have been doing. Lottie's been hitting it great. I think she was 6- or 7-under par in the best ball yesterday afternoon and they got beat. I mean, this morning the Americans played great, I think they were 7-under after 11 holes. We're playing the best players in the world from both teams, so it's going to be some tough matches, going to be a lot of good golf not being rewarded. That's just golf. We see in match play it's such a fine line by making a putt when you need it the most, getting the momentum, getting a good bounce. So I think they're doing everything they can, or, everything right, but they just haven't really holed those momentum putts this week. So I have full trust and confidence in them and they have both been playing really solid this week, so I'm looking forward to see them play tomorrow.
