TV Interview
Q. You can feel the energy once more here on the opening tee. Speaking of energy, how much energy was brought to the team by Carlota's putt yesterday?
ANNA NORDQVIST: Yeah, I mean, I think that was a huge momentum, leaving the day like that, having basically the whole team and all the caddies out there watching. It's just so crucial to fight for every point. Carlota lives and dies for the Solheim Cup and those are the moments that really brings out the best in her.
Q. Today you're sticking with the pairing of Charley Hull, Lottie Woad. They only put up half a point on the board yesterday. Did you consider splitting them at any point in your strategy?
ANNA NORDQVIST: No, I mean, they're two of our strongest players. They played really good, especially in the best ball yesterday afternoon. I mean, anything can happen in match play. And they played with Nelly Korda and Allisen Corpuz, which we know is a really strong pairing, and she's the world No. 1. So, no pairing is going to be easy out here, and that's just golf. But I'm really proud that they fought and I see no reason why not to play them today.
Q. And do you plan to play all 12 players today or are you going to base that more on form?
ANNA NORDQVIST: No, we had a pretty good idea of the plan going into the week, obviously had to make some adjustments along the way. We're still keeping ourself a little bit open minded for the afternoon, but I think we have a pretty good idea, so I can't tell you much more than that.
