Q. When we talked yesterday after the morning session you were pretty happy with the tied ball game. Is that still the case going into today?

ANGELA STANFORD: Absolutely. I mean, look, today's going to be tough and we know that. But I feel like we're built for it and we're ready. But, yeah, I think if you can be tied or even up, I mean that's a win over here. I don't think people understand how tough it's been to play here.

Q. What was the vibe yesterday at the end of the day for the United States? Because when Carlota made that putt there was a huge European celebration and it almost felt like a win. It wasn't, it was a half point. What was the vibe in the team room?

ANGELA STANFORD: It was great. I mean, I think she celebrated a tie, you know, and we were pretty happy about the tie, too. So they knew that they were going to get -- I keep telling 'em they're going throw the kitchen sink at us, and they're doing it over and over and over and we're taking it and we're handling it. So I told 'em I was proud of 'em and we're going to do it again today.

Q. And give us a quick rundown of the philosophy in the pairings this morning?

ANGELA STANFORD: I felt really good about yesterday morning, we just kind of shifted the order of 'em a little bit. I felt like Rose and Kupcho not playing yesterday afternoon had a lot of energy, and you saw 'em just come running out of the tunnel, so they're ready to go. So just changed the order a little bit, but I was happy with yesterday morning.
