Trump International Golf Links & Hotel

Quick Quotes

Q. 4-under 66 today, how was it out there for you?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Yeah, it was a good day. Yeah, tricky conditions today. It was windy, kind of like Thursday, so, yeah, I mean it was a good day.

Q. Couple of bogeys on the front nine, but you steadied the ship on the back nine with three birdies. Was there any difference between the two nines?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Yeah, there was a switch on No. 6 tee. I felt like I was hitting the ball great and I didn't start that comfortable. Missing it a little bit on the right, a little spinny. And after No. 6 I just really made a committed golf swing, and after that everything started going in the right direction. So, yeah, putting, on the green I felt a lot better than yesterday, so that's kind of giving me a good kind of momentum to how have a good run tomorrow hopefully.

Q. You need a bit of a run tomorrow to be in the mix, but what's it going to be like to and what it means to get your name on such a prestigious trophy on the DP World Tour?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: Yeah, definitely, such a great tournament. The President coming here and then hosting us is pretty cool. The crowds are pretty amazing. So, yeah, I've been enjoying my time here in Ireland and just going to go out and try my best tomorrow and see if we can do something good.
