THE MODERATOR: Thank you all again for being here. We're joined by Megan Khang and Alison Lee in the media center.

I'll open it up first by just asking your thoughts on today's matches, and then we'll open it up in the media center. Megan, if you would like to go first.

MEGAN KHANG: Definitely. I think overall, we're pretty happy. We, as a whole, grinded out today. We got to end the day 4-4. It's pretty good, not too bad. And then personally for our match itself, it was a lot of fun. Got off to a little slow start, but Alison really kept us in there on No. 3 making nearly a hole-in-one and finishing it up.

And then same thing, kind of got some momentum starting on 6 from a little error from Europe, then kind of took advantage of that, and we really just kind of kicked it off from 7 on, and it was a lot of fun on the back nine.

THE MODERATOR: Alison.

ALISON LEE: I just feel like overall, we both played so consistent and we felt so confident in each other's games. I mean, at one point we were 2-down, but it honestly didn't even feel like we were 2-down. I had so much confidence that we were going to be able to bring it back and have a good chance at winning the match. So finally, when we both got a few drops to go in, I feel like it just became kind of easy, yeah.

THE MODERATOR: Please raise your hand if you have a question.

Q. Three come-from-behind victories, obviously, on the road here in Europe for you guys today. What can you say about that and why did you think that was?

ALISON LEE: I mean, just so impressed, right? I'm always constantly so impressed by these women and what they can do out there and the grit that they have and everything that they were able to show on the course today. I mean, that's why we play golf and that's why I love them so much. They just never give up and they do everything they can. Even if it's just a half point, it means so much. And I think they all know that and I feel like quite a few girls out there all day today, I mean, just did everything they could to not give up and just keep pressing.

Q. Megan, since you defeated Sophia Popov in the singles in 2021, you've gone on quite a tear at this event. Did something click? Because ever since, you've been very good at this.

MEGAN KHANG: That match with Sophia was a lot of fun. She's a good friend and it kind of, I guess, did kick-start this whole run. I'm hoping it keeps going, selfishly. But honestly, I've always really enjoyed match play. I think it's a lot of fun. I think it's where you can have a bad hole, but then it's -- as soon as you're done, you're done, and you got to focus on the next one. And it truly is just focus on the next shot.

So I've kind of really embraced it. I think the Solheim Cup is such a great stage to really embrace that moment and what better way to do it than doing it with the best women in the world and representing your country. So I think I've kind of really enjoyed being a part of a Solheim Cup, and I've always said that once you've played in one, you never want to miss another. So I'm extremely grateful to be a captain's pick this year, and we're just going to keep riding the waves and hearing the USA chants and try to focus on that and, again, looking into our team to really just rely on each other because out there, I had Alison Lee all day and it was a lot of fun and it's something where you're going to look back on it forever and it's something that you just got to enjoy and embrace.

Q. One other thing. It's not just the format, I think just the vibe, it was pretty clear when you came out onto the first tee that that's not something that you do in a week-to-week stroke play tournament, is it? Well, I hope not.

ALISON LEE: Maybe that's what she's got to do now.

Q. So that's a big part of it as well, yeah?

MEGAN KHANG: Yeah, it's definitely a lot of fun. I was definitely scared when LPGA -- or Solheim Cup USA wanted to share the video with me. It's a little embarrassing, for sure, but it's a lot of fun. I think that's what it's all about. It's the spirit of the game, it's camaraderie, it's fun, it's for your country, it's for your teammates, fans. And, yeah, it's so much fun. I love to dance, as you can tell. I love to sing. Honestly, it's a blessing that I still have my voice. And again, this is just a week I always love.

Q. In golf, what do you two have in common? Because it seems as though you've been friends for years the way you get on together.

ALISON LEE: I would say for the most part, we're both very good approach players, very good iron players. I would say that's probably the strongest part of our game for both of us. And I wouldn't say that's necessarily why we do well in this format. But I mean, I've known Megan for a long time. We've become very, very close over the years playing on tour together. Of course, whenever you play with each other, you always want to help each other get better, and I know that she's one of my biggest fans, and I'm one of her biggest fans, and so we're always trying to help each other and make each other better.

I don't know, maybe that's why we both are such good approach shot players. Because sometimes when I'm playing a practice round with Megan and she hits it to 10 feet, I'm like, oh, I got to hit it closer than that. And we'll play little fun money games once in a while. But I think that's a part of it, you're just always trying to help each other out and make each other better.

MEGAN KHANG: It's a lot of fun. We always joke that we bicker like sisters. Alison is like the older sister I never had, and so it's a lot of fun to be out there with her. As the years have gone on we've gotten a lot closer, so to be out there having fun and really not, I guess, worrying about each other is a lot of, a lot easier for us.

Q. So what's the best tip you've each given the other?

MEGAN KHANG: Don't suck. (Laughing).

ALISON LEE: I don't know if we've given each other any tips. I feel like we're usually just yelling at each other.

MEGAN KHANG: She's always telling me to calm down, I'm so angry.

ALISON LEE: Oh, she's been an angry one all week.

MEGAN KHANG: I've been losing money all week.

ALISON LEE: She has.

THE MODERATOR: I'll wrap with the last question. Angela had you all in a huddle there on the last hole. Can you -- and even with a yeehaw, I believe, too. Can you all just touch on what was spoken there and how you're feeling energized for tomorrow after that.

MEGAN KHANG: Yeah, Angela just kind of had us all together because we were all there on 18, and she just gave us a little pep talk about how this day went, how proud she is of us. And how we're just going to keep looking inner, into our circle and our team and just keep going at it day by day, shot by shot. And the yeehaw is if you don't know Angela, she's from Texas. And so a couple of our player gifts were cowboy hat and some cowgirl boots and so we are making it a thing, I guess, to do a yeehaw.
