Quick Quotes
Q. Opening 2-under first round. How would you assess that?
NIKLAS NORGAARD: Somewhat satisfied. The first 10 holes were so tough, raining sideways, windy, everything. Then you turn and you get the wind into your face. The wind calmed down a little bit on the last few holes, but pretty tough golf course when it's like this.
Q. Did you think it was going to be a bit more gettable or was it literally all down to the conditions?
NIKLAS NORGAARD: Not at all. This was forecasted pretty much, so we knew what we were getting into. I quite strive in this kind of weather. That's what we're used to back in Denmark also, so I'm totally fine with it.
Q. But the form that has been coming, hasn't it. You played well a couple of weeks ago at the Belfry.
NIKLAS NORGAARD: Yeah, that was nice. It was quite a big relief just to get a good result under the belt. It's been a very, what seems like years since that's happening. So, yeah, I think it's been under way for a while and, yeah, I'm just ready to see what's ahead.
Q. Obviously back over in Europe for a nice string of events. Are you looking forward to it?
NIKLAS NORGAARD: I am. This is my week five right now in a row, so I'm also getting a little bit battered, and being out in this it doesn't help. So I'm just going to put all my energy into the next two weeks here and then take a week off.
Q. How do you approach the rest of the week?
NIKLAS NORGAARD: Pretty much like today. I hope it's going to be similar weather to this. So, yeah, as I said, I feel fine in this kind of weather and just hope that we all get it.
