Q. Ludvig, obviously you did it very well, but how did you reset after that double bogey on the 1st hole?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: It wasn't ideal. To be fair, it is probably one of the harder opening holes on the PGA TOUR, it feels like. Yeah making 6 wasn't ideal, but I still felt like I was hitting it nice, I was giving myself chances. I knew that once I gave myself plenty of chances, it was going to drop eventually. Luckily it did.

Q. What in your game did you do well after that? What did you feel was the best part of it today?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: I think the biggest thing is just not to change anything. It's easy to, hey, maybe we want to hit some drivers off the tee or press or go at pins that you don't normally would have. I felt like we did a good job of sticking to what we said we were going to do, which could be a challenge sometimes.

Yeah, and then it felt like I sort of had a little dip in the middle of the round, 11, 12. I had to make a couple of par saves, which sometimes is what you have to do. Then obviously a very positive finish.

Q. Is it kind of hard to stay patient when the leaderboard is this bunched and it feels like if you're -- I don't know if it feels like you're not making birdie, you're falling behind, but there does seem to be a pressure to keep up, if you will.

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, it is. It's difficult to make a ton of birdies. It gives me a little bit of sort of Aronimink vibes a little bit, where the leaderboard is so bunched up and together.

Yeah, I think it's all about trying to play your own game, make sure that you execute golf shots. It's a golf course where you have to execute. If you don't, you're going to get in trouble. Hopefully we can do that tomorrow as well.

Q. What's your main focus tomorrow? What's the thing that you want to focus on the most to hopefully come out on top?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: I think just do me. Obviously keep an eye on the leaderboard, which I think is important, but if I can keep executing golf shots, that's all I can do.

Then knowing that the winner is going to have to hit golf shots all the way until the end, which is the way it's supposed to be, which I like. If I can do that, then we'll see what happens tomorrow night.

Q. If you win tomorrow, will you feel like you've won the TOUR Championship or the FedExCup champion?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: I would feel that I won the TOUR Championship. I think Scottie Scheffler should win the FedExCup, but I would feel like I would probably have won the TOUR Championship.
