Q. Just wondering when you see that your paired with Scottie, do you have to prepare differently at all knowing that there might be more fans or more people in person watching or just more yelling maybe in that aspect?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, maybe. I think the main thing that I think about when you're playing with Scottie is you're going to see a lot of good golf, which definitely helps. It's nice to see good shots. It puts some nice pictures in your mind.

We get along great, and I enjoy playing with him. Obviously most of the time he's playing good golf. Any time you play with him, it's a good thing. Hopefully we can do that more.

Q. I saw you were giving yourself a B-minus grade for the season. How did you come up with B-minus?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: I thought there's probably a few things missing, I think, from my 2026 season, but I've definitely seen a lot of improvements. I've seen some nice things in my game. I feel like statistically I've improved a lot, and I feel like a lot of those experiences I've had have helped me a lot going forward.

Definitely for it to become an A, I probably would have liked a trophy or two at home.

Q. What would a victory here change it to?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Probably up to an A, I think.

Q. How much are you going to play in the fall? Are you going to play much in Europe?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: I'm playing Wentworth in France in two weeks on the DP World Tour, and I'm planning on, given rankings and the situations, to play the DP World Play-Offs as well.

Q. What would you say your comfort level is around East Lake now, having a few times to go around it?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: Yeah, it's a ball striker's golf course. You just have to hit it nice, hit it well. If you do, you're going to get a lot of chances.

Today might have been maybe a little bit different because of the wind and some of these tucked pins, but I thought the greens were great. The rolling, probably the best I've seen here. Yeah, it's a good golf course to play.

Q. Then so far from what you've seen from your game, what's it going to take to get to the winner's circle?

LUDVIG Ã…BERG: I think I definitely improved off the tee from yesterday, which I really enjoyed to see. I was hitting the driver a lot better, hitting more fairways. Yeah, obviously, given the circumstances and the situations, if you can get a little bit close to the hole, make a few more putts, I think that's one of the things I'll try to do.
