Quick Quotes
Q. All right, here with Hyo Joo after her second round here at the FM Championship. Really solid round from you; only hiccup on No. 4. Just phenomenal first two rounds actually. What's been working so well the past two rounds?
HYO JOO KIM: (Through translation.) My putting went well and necessarily one thing, but overall I think my round went well, I was able to save some, so I think that's what went well for me.
Q. You had a streak of 30 straight holes bogey-free, one of your longest streaks. Are you aware of streaks like that when you're in the moment?
HYO JOO KIM: (Through translation.) (Indicated she did not know.)
Q. ^ so that answers that. What were you doing to keep yourself out of those bogey situations?
HYO JOO KIM: (Through translation.) There are many situations even yesterday I could have bogeyed but I think there was just a lot of saves. So that's why I was able to have a bogey-free round.
Q. Only 52 putts for you. Right now top 10 in the field for fewest putts needed. Is that a product of you're rolling your putts in or your approach game is really good this week? What's been the key to that?
HYO JOO KIM: (Through translation.) Well, a lot of them were within five, three meters, and I would've preferred those putts to be birdie opportunities. I had a lot of par putts, so I want to keep that rhythm going for the next two rounds.
Q. Lastly, how do you keep the momentum you built over last two rounds into the weekend?
HYO JOO KIM: (Through translation.) It's been a while since my name has been on the leaderboard, and I'm actually going to Korea after this, so I want to focus the next two rounds to take the good energy into going Korea.
