Q. Taken a while to complete the first round but you must be delighted?

MATTHEW JORDAN: Of course, yeah, just not playing and doing a bit of practice wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Obviously we had two weeks full of adrenaline rebound pressure, stuff like that.

Q. Has the adrenaline and pressure carried through with you into this week? Because back-to-back runner-up finish, you've been knocking on the door the last couple weeks. It must tire you out.

MATTHEW JORDAN: Of course. I don't think I've necessarily been that tired on the Mondays and Tuesdays afterwards, really but it's a good thing. It's what you want.

And, of course, you have a bit of a comedown after being up there for the tournaments. But no I haven't felt kind of mentally fatigued. I've felt when I've stepped up in practice rounds, I've been prepared and ready to go.

Q. You've had the momentum coming through from your runner-up finishes and also great momentum going through into Round 2, which you're going to tee off in just under an hour. Is that the kind of way you'd like to play when you're playing this well, you don't have a big break, you don't have a big pause; you're just carrying on into round two?

MATTHEW JORDAN: Yeah, sure. Who knows, kind of thing. It is what it is. Kind of feels a bit like Open Qualifying and U.S. Open Qualifying, kind of thing. Just out there, back, and kind of go again. So you don't have too much time to think.

Who knows? Yeah, it could work, it couldn't work, as long as I keep doing what I'm doing and keep focusing on the next shot and building clarity there, yeah, hopefully it works out anyway.
