Q. 3-under 69 today. That was a pretty good start in this gusty wind. Difficult conditions out there, would you say?

TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, it was pretty tricky. It was just hard to get club selection right into the greens. I mean, we had a few issues during the round. I think a lot of people are going to have that today, anyway.

Unfortunately, I seem to be carrying the green, and when pins are in the back, makes life quite difficult.

Yeah, good finish at the end, quick bit of lunch now, and hopefully get the momentum into the afternoon round.

Q. Three birdies on the bounce from the 15th and 17th move you forward, keep you feeling positive over lunch time?

TYRRELL HATTON: Yeah, I feel like I played the last few holes really well. Certainly drove the ball better at the end of the round, which was nice. Started to feel a little bit more comfortable there. So yeah, just try and continue that, and try and give myself chances to make birdies.

Q. You're a famously level-headed and patient young man. How frustrating has it been with the disruptions with the rain and how did you cope with all the delays yesterday?

TYRRELL HATTON: I had a great day. I spent the day at home. Yeah, I got back here to the hotel at about quarter past ten last night. Stayed at home and made the drive back. It was a pretty chill day. A lot of time on the sofa but it's not a bad thing.
