Q. All right, here with Sei Young Kim at the 2026 FM Championship. 8-under today. Can you talk a little bit about your play?

SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, I mean, I feel like this course is a little softer, greens are a little softer than last year.

That's why so I was able to lot of birdie chance, even front nine. But I couldn't make the lot front nine, but just make two birdie.

But the back nine I had a good birdies, yeah, couple hole and then good eagle hole 16 -- is that 16 maybe? 15?

Q. I think No. 5 you had it.

SEI YOUNG KIM: No. 5? Yeah. So after that, yeah, I feel really good today. Yeah, finish strong.

Q. Can you talk through the eagle on No. 5, what you had in and what you hit?

SEI YOUNG KIM: Tee is little up, so and then with the downwind it's pretty close. And I hit the driver, finish little right of the fairway, and I got the 190 meter to the pin. But it's a strong downwind, so I took a hybrid, but with the hybrid a little bit can be over.

But I try to counter-shot and I finish just three yard right of the pin so I chip it in. (Smiling.)

Q. That's always nice.

SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah.

Q. Compared to past years, you said it's a little softer. Do you think you were able to go pin seeking a little bit?

SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah, yeah. When I play the pro-am, pro-am I ask the guys why little softer than last year. They said got the rain a lot so that's why, which is mean we can more like hit the pins, good chance to make a lot of birdie this week.

So, yeah.

Q. As you were walking in you said you had an early morning today.

SEI YOUNG KIM: Yeah.

Q. Do you like that, to get out and wrap up early or do you like the later afternoon tee time?

SEI YOUNG KIM: I mean, I flew from the Canada on Monday, so I kind of too short time for the prepare this week. Especially today little tough to wake up the early morning. Feel like I hurt everywhere.

Yeah, but I like to play the early morning anyway, yeah.
