THE MODERATOR: Okay, I am pleased to be joined by the 2026 CPKC Women's Open champion Miyu Yamashita. Miyu, a record breaking week this week. Can you talk about how good your game was this week?

MIYU YAMASHITA: My second shot so good. So driver shot feeling (indiscernible.) So nice, yeah.

THE MODERATOR: And then this is your second win this year. Can you talk about where you feel like your game is at?

MIYU YAMASHITA: I'm so happy. (Smiling.)

Is it okay to say in Japanese? (Through translation.) So I haven't been great for this season, but I'm really happy to win in Canada.

THE MODERATOR: And then last one from me: To win in Canada, you had a lot fun out there on the green with all the fans. Can you talk a little bit about how much these fans meant to you during the week?

MIYU YAMASHITA: (Through translation.) So a lot of the people came out to support me and I was able to enjoy playing today and throughout the week.

Q. Congratulations. Curious about one quick thing: Have you ever been to Canada before?

MIYU YAMASHITA: First time.

Q. Did you feel like you played better when you won at Meijer or when you won this week?

MIYU YAMASHITA: Canada, yeah.

Q. When you arrived here and you saw the golf course, did you think that it was a golf course that you could play well on?

MIYU YAMASHITA: Yes. (Smiling.)

(Through translation.) So I didn't expect to win but I did it. And it feels similar to Japan, so I'm really happy to win.

Q. You are not one of the longer hitters on Tour, but how do you invest time in your short game so that it doesn't matter?

MIYU YAMASHITA: So par-5 birdie chance. Fairway keep. Short game is, yeah. (Smiling.)

THE MODERATOR: Last one from me, Miyu. Only a few tournaments left this year, less than ten. Talk about what you'll work on for the rest of the year to keep up your good play.

MIYU YAMASHITA: (Through translation.) There aren't many tournaments left this season, but I want to keep working hard and try to get a win. I just want to play my usual game.
