Q. All right, we have Gina Kim here after the first rounds of the CPKC. So, Gina, how has winning the Dow Championship prepared you and also given you the confidence for the rest of the season?

GINA KIM: Yeah, I mean, obviously just knowing that I won this year and knowing that there is evidence that I do have what it takes to, you know, put a good result together even though I missed so many cuts, it's Dow that I look back on and, you know, remind myself what I can do and what I'm capable of doing.

But also just having that luxury of not having to worry about my card for two years. I think that's taken a lot of pressure off of me, so I've just been kind of working on my process and just trying to get back to where I know I can be.

Q. Awesome. And then talking about that strong play, you had the eagle on three. Currently the only player in the field with an eagle. Talk to us a little bit about that hole and what was going through your mind there.

GINA KIM: Yeah, I mean, we obviously had a really good number. I think it was like 123 or something like that, but it was a perfect pitching and it was going straight at the hole.

My eyesight is not that great so I didn't even realize it went in, and then the volunteers went crazy. My caddie obviously said, it went in.

So, yeah, it was unexpected but obviously I'll take advantage of that whenever I can.

Q. Yeah, that's awesome. And lastly, hit 16 out of 18 greens in regulation. How do you feel about your short game today?

GINA KIM: You know what? I think it was pretty solid. There was nothing that I was necessarily pushing for or really going after. It was just really solid golf through and through, and obviously my caddie, John, has been really helpful in it helping me choose the right clubs.

So I think if anything, the credit really mostly goes to him and I just hit the shot where he tells me to hit it.
