Q. Sungjae, how would you assess today's round and the challenge that lies ahead for tomorrow?

SUNGJAE IM: I played with Scottie at 3M Open and enjoyed it. Today I also enjoyed it. I was watching him playing a lot of good shots and learned a lot. Hopefully I can keep it going through the weekend.

Q. It's been a few years since you've won on the PGA TOUR. What would it mean to get a victory tomorrow?

SUNGJAE IM: I just want to focus on each shot. Every shot matters. So I just try to stay patient and focus on my game.

Q. You saw Scottie hit a lot of great shots today, but what's it going to be like chasing him on Sunday?

SUNGJAE IM: Of course he's the No. 1 player in the world. It was good to see him playing well, and a lot of good putts as well.
