Quick Quotes
Q. All right, joining me after the third round of the Standard Portland Classic is Jiwon. 6-under today. Seemed like putting was really a strength. What was going on there? Was everything just rolling in?
JIWON JEON: Well, I had -- actually I had some putts that I missed today that was like potential to be in the hole. But overall, like putting was working really well, especially on No. 18 which is my 9th. The putt off the fringe just felt great, just went in.
So, I mean, yeah, the putting definitely saved my round today for sure.
Q. Bogey-free today. Was there anywhere that you felt like you were really minimizing any mistakes?
JIWON JEON: Well, actually the last four coming in I was a little struggling getting pace right for the lag putts, but I somehow figure it out, manage to make the putts for the coming-back putts. So that worked well for me.
Q. Currently in the Top 5. Obviously one more round to play. What's going to be really important to attack the course tomorrow?
JIWON JEON: So far my drive and my middle game has been really good and my short game has been, yeah, pretty good right now.
So just keep doing what I'm doing. Same thing tomorrow. Just stay patient. This course can be tricky because it's kind of tight course, and, yeah, just got to trust myself more and stay patient.
Q. You've had kind of an up-and-down year. How do rounds like this shake that out of you and make you realize you really can put together a great game out there?
JIWON JEON: Well, I feel like I don't have much opportunities to play some tournaments this year, especially beginning of the year. I had conditional status; played couple events on Epson. Somehow played well in Mexico do get my status back on the LPGA.
So I'm very confident with my game right now so whenever I have a chance to be out here just play solid and just try to be myself out there.
