Q. Second round 66, highlighted by an eagle on the 3rd hole. What did you do well today, Patrick?

PATRICK CANTLAY: I hit the ball really well today, made a couple of putts, especially in the middle of the round for par, which was nice. All in all, I thought I did everything pretty well today, pretty solid.

Q. What were some things you saw that were working club-wise for you?

PATRICK CANTLAY: I think I drove the ball well today, played from the fairway a lot, which is important around here.

Q. Knowing you've played well at this course in recent years, how much pressure did you kind of put on yourself to have a good week to make your next week in St. Louis a little bit easier?

PATRICK CANTLAY: It's just a golf course that I think suits my game really well. So it makes me feel really comfortable coming around here. It's nice to come back to places that you've played well before.

Q. What's the rest of the afternoon look like for you?

PATRICK CANTLAY: Yeah, it's hot, so I'll get some rest. Might do a little practice and then rest up.

Q. What's the big keys, motivations for the weekend on bettering your standing to try to get to East Lake?

PATRICK CANTLAY: I'm just focused on playing as well as I can this week. I've got a good game plan for this golf course, and I'll stick to it and hopefully have a good weekend.
