Q. 5 & 3 win; talk to me about it.

JACK TURNER: Yeah, good day. Obviously it's always tough playing against your teammate. We wanted to see how far we could get the Gators to go, but it came down to me and him. I knew it was going to be a tough match but just kept me head in it and played really well and took care of business.

Q. Josh is no stranger to you, your teammate at Florida. How much golf do you play, and did that help you that you obviously know his game so well?

JACK TURNER: Yeah, I think -- I actually played against one of my teammates in match play in another tournament, so I kind of had some experience with that. Just kind of knowing -- of course I know their game really well; I've played with them a million times. But just try to forget about that and just stay focused on myself and just play against the course, and whatever he does, he does, and I can't control that.

Q. Is it hard not to laugh when you shake his hand on the first tee?

JACK TURNER: Yeah, we had a couple (indiscernible) last week. We always play games together and we were talking about how gimmes you just lay the putter down and just say pick it up. So we had some laughs out there. But it's definitely weird playing one of my good friends on such a big stage. But it was a lot of fun.

Q. Now you're down to the final eight. Have you put any thought into possibly, hey, if I keep doing good, I could be a sneaky last selection into the Walker Cup?

JACK TURNER: Yeah, of course it's on my mind. Representing your country is one of the best things you can do in your life. And this being my senior year, obviously my last chance. So I'm going to give it everything I've got.

Q. What's the recovery looking like tonight to get ready for tomorrow?

JACK TURNER: Yeah, we've been doing Kavia and Chipotle kind of back and forth, so probably do one of those again. Just something that's fast and easy and try to get to bed as early as possible.
