Q. Have you ever three-peated in anything?

JON RAHM: I don't know. Yeah, I really couldn't tell you. I really couldn't tell you. No, I have no idea.

I think I've been close to a three-peat, but this might be the first one.

Q. A three-peat in any sport is pretty impressive.

JON RAHM: Yeah. It's weird because in golf, it's something that it's odd to have still one more tournament before things are done. Most season-long races, you have to wait until the last event because the last event counts so much. But it feels different this year. Last year in my mind at least, even though it was a point system, it was a question mark with having not won, and it didn't feel the same. So this year to play as good as I did early on and have such a big lead that I can even enjoy not playing good this week and next week, it feels really good.

Q. It's tough to compare, obviously, but do you feel like this one is even more impressive than the first one?

JON RAHM: No, the first one is more impressive because the first one I had to finish it off and almost won the last three to get it done. So I think the first one is more impressive.

Q. I know it's tough because of the way it's gone the last couple weeks, but when do you think you'll get a chance to reflect and look back on the entire season?

JON RAHM: Probably tonight once I get back home with the family. I've got a pretty long car ride to get back to where we're staying. I'll have time then for sure. Once I get over how bad I played this week, it'll be all right.

Q. How much have you been thinking about it the last week?

JON RAHM: Not really. It was only this week when I knew it was more of a reality. You asked me last event, and it was too much of a long shot. It would have been very nice to have a 401-point lead coming into this week and know that he couldn't do anything about it. But it's been really good either way.

It was mainly today. Today was when I asked for the first time, hey, what needs to happen, and it was pretty much a long shot. A lot of good for Bryson and a lot of bad needed to happen for me not to win, so that was the only time I thought about it, and I just focused on my golf after that.

Q. Who did you ask, Jeff?

JON RAHM: Yeah, Jeff and Adam. They both knew it. They knew what the math was.

Q. Do you think people prize consistency as much as they should? Let's face it, that's what this is is consistency and winning.

JON RAHM: I think everybody when it comes to sports, we have severely -- I think we have a lot of recency bias, what the latest thing you've done is the main thing that matters. I think we have that a lot.

You can take F1, for example. Verstappen has won four championships in a row, and then last season he had a great chance, finishes second, and then now you don't really think about it. Even Scottie, who's had not the year he's had the last few years, Scottie Scheffler in golf, and even though he's leading the FedExCup we don't really talk about it because we have the recency bias that oh, he hasn't won in the last two months.

I think that's what we have, and then when people start sitting down and seeing the whole picture, it's a little different.

Q. How much these last few years on LIV have you enjoyed the battles, particularly with Joaco and with Bryson?

JON RAHM: Yeah, I've had a few. I've gone head-to-head with both of them quite a few times. They've won some, I've won some. It's been quite interesting. It's been a lot of fun. The only thing we've missed is one week where all three of us were firing on all cylinders and we could have enjoyed that. That could have been quite a thing.

Q. Do you think that helps your game going up against those kind of guys?

JON RAHM: Yeah, you know what they're going to do, and you know what you need to do, so I think it's helped us as individuals do some of the things we've done.
