Q. Harold, great round today. Chris Rice actually said something really interesting to me; he said anytime you have your back up against the wall, you're a different player; your mindset changes. What brings that out of you?

HAROLD VARNER III: Not really sure. I think I'm playing well. Joaquín is obviously playing well, so you play well, good golf takes care of everything. Yeah, just felt like I did a good job of that today.

Q. You're in contention, which is no surprise to us because this week you had an inkling that something good was going to happen. Where did that feeling come from?

HAROLD VARNER III: Well, I've been playing well the last couple few tournaments and I've been working hard, and I feel like things are just going my way, and you want to just keep it stacking and attacking, and I feel like I'm doing that as well.

Q. What's the self-talk going to be teeing it up tomorrow in the final group?

HAROLD VARNER III: I think I'm pretty good at giving myself confidence, so I think I'll keep that to myself. It would not be appropriate for here.

But I'll be ready. I think it's a great opportunity to do something well. All we need is air and opportunity, and I think we'll have that tomorrow, so looking forward to it.
