Q. Joaco, this course tests every aspect of your game. How important was it to get off to the start you did today?

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: I enjoyed my day today. It's a beautiful place. It's a pleasure for us to be back here at Trump Bedminster. Yeah, just happy to be here playing good golf. Excited for the next three days.

Q. How confident are you with that putter? It was pretty awesome today.

JOAQUIN NIEMANN: It worked out pretty well today. Yeah, feel good. Just keep doing my routine. I feel like every time I keep doing the same thing, just seeing my lines, sticking to my routine, and then see if it goes in. It went in today.
