Q. Can you talk about what it was like playing back in front of the Toronto crowd? I know the weather made it a little bit of an interesting day.

VENUS WILLIAMS: Yeah, nothing new. In tennis, we play outside, so you can't control the weather. But the fans were amazing, they were with me at every point, and that was fantastic.

Q. Can you talk about the match today, it was a really competitive first set, what were you liking from your game?

VENUS WILLIAMS: Yeah, I was just fighting to put the ball in the court and, you know, I had some chances to go up there, so it was really fun.
