Q. Tough loss today, but hopefully you can take solace in your semifinal run here. What do you think made the difference in the match?

NAOMI OSAKA: I mean, I feel like I hit a lot of unforced errors, SO that was probably one of the main reasons.

Q. Switching to Canada, you had a lot of success last year. Different city now, but how optimistic are you for Toronto?

NAOMI OSAKA: I mean, I am optimistic, but I want to take it one match at a time. I think obviously, you know, it's the best players in the world, and every match is going to be really tough, so I just hope to play better than I did today.

Q. What positive takeaways do you have of a strong great week here in D.C.?

NAOMI OSAKA: It's kind of funny because I only played, like, three matches. I mean, I just had a lot of fun. The crowd here was super cool and engaging, so I'm just really grateful.
