SHIHO KUWAKI: I just can't believe. I just can't believe it. (Applause.)

Q. We saw that trademark smile out there. You looked relaxed, composed. How did you handle the nerves, the pressure, the excitement, and adrenaline, everything that went through today, especially in that playoff at the end?

SHIHO KUWAKI: Well, just to be on a stage like this is just an honor, and every hole I was just focused shot by shot and just tried to enjoy it out there as much as I could.

Q. What does it mean to follow in Yamashita's footsteps, another Japanese victory here in this wonderful championship?

SHIHO KUWAKI: Yeah, after last year, Yamashita's win, and to be able to win again as a Japanese player is such an amazing feeling, and I hope as part of Team Japan we can continue to light up the golf world and hope everyone enjoys it as well.

Q. It was a simply sensational performance today. Just finally, this championship gets bigger, gets better each and every year. How much would you like to say some thanks to everybody here on the ground and also maybe your team who have helped you achieve and get to that point here today?

I would like to thank my family. I would like to thank my team. And recently we had an earthquake in Kumamoto, and I would like to just give them a speedy recovery and best wishes them as well.
