AIG WOMEN'S OPEN

August 2, 2026

Yealimi Noh

Lancashire, England, UK

Mixed Zone

Q. Yealimi, commiserations, but what are the emotions right now?

YEALIMI NOH: Obviously it stings coming up one short and having a not great round, but I'm still very happy to have been in this position. And coming down 18 in front of the big crowds and playing at The Open, it was really special. Reminded me why I love this game and why I'm here.

Q. Was there a moment that felt difficult out there today? Were you comfortable or was there a moment that sort of...

YEALIMI NOH: Yeah, the first hole. Started out a little rough. It was kind of weird. But got it back together the first couple holes.

I think starting like the six or seventh hole. Actually both holes, just not being able to make any birdies on the par-5s today was tough.

Definitely lost a lot a lot of momentum there. But, yeah, I mean, just golf.

Q. I know this is frustrating, but how much does this renew your confidence for a big rest of the year coming up?

YEALIMI NOH: For sure that's the biggest thing I'll take away from this week. I came into the week feeling very unsure how my game was and disappointed in past results. This week has given me so much more confidence and I'm really thankful for that.

Q. Well played.

YEALIMI NOH: Thank you. Thanks, guys.
