Q. Two years in a row, Paula. Amazing. How do you do it?

PAULA MARTIN SAMPEDRO: Yeah, I mean, obviously a great week here at the AIG Women's Open. Very happy with my performance overall. Had some highs and lows as always, but obviously the low amateur award means a lot to me, and to get it for the second year in a row is a huge honor.

Q. Let's talk about the lows. What were the lows?

PAULA MARTIN SAMPEDRO: The lows, yesterday last few holes, four, five, were kind of tough. Today I played pretty solid. And obviously back nine is very demanding. Ended up with a bogey on last which hurts a little bit, but, yeah, just always highs and lows in a golf round, but especially at a links golf course. This is even more challenging.

So yeah, obviously mistakes are going to come.

Q. Let's talk about the highs. What were the highs?

PAULA MARTIN SAMPEDRO: Yeah, the highs, I was pretty up there on the leaderboard after the first couple rounds. I think my game has been pretty solid overall and made some good birdies, hit in some good shots. Yeah, had some fun out there, so a lot of highs, too.

Q. So what does this week tell but the level of your -- state of your golf and future golf career?

PAULA MARTIN SAMPEDRO: Yeah, a lot. I think a lot of learnings, too. Just seeing myself up there ahead of the weekend was a challenge and something that I haven't been in that position before, so, yeah, just happy to have the opportunity to be at another major championship.

This golf course obviously requires a lot, and, yeah, just learning from this week and happy with the performance.

Obviously taking some good lessons with me and hopefully work them out for the future.

Q. What comes next for you now?

PAULA MARTIN SAMPEDRO: I think I'm going to rest until I'm back in college in September. Yeah.
