Q. Lottie, kept in there well then. Can you just talk about sort of really battled and seemed to be, you know, patient and took your chance when you could.

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, that back nine was playing very tough with that wind. Probably the strongest it's been all week and playing long, so definitely pars were good on that.

Then eventually knew that 16 would be a good chance and managed to capitalize on that.

Q. Do you look at leaderboards out there?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, there is not massive amounts of them but there is some on a few holes. And, yeah, I always have a peek, yeah.

Q. Did you know you were seven behind at one stage and, not panic, that's not the right word, but was there an urgency then? You're only three behind now.

LOTTIE WOAD: Never saw I was seven. Saw the lead was eight when I was two maybe, but I knew that I was ahead. Played a few of the tougher holes, so it would probably of drop back. I thought if I kind of stay where I was I would be in it.

Q. (Regarding how it feels being in the mix going into tomorrow.)

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, feels great. Obviously always the goal, so to do that and put myself in position is great. Just going to try my best tomorrow and not really much else you can do.

Q. Can you use the final day when you come off all the signatures they're asking for they're shouting your name the whole way round, can you use that to your advantage?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, definitely. It's always great when the fans are pulling for you. I mean, it's not all going to be on me tomorrow. Charley is playing great too, so going to be supporting both of us.

Q. You mentioned Charley. You grew up looking up to her. There might be a chance you play together tomorrow. What does sort of she mean to you as a golfer and someone that you now are around a lot?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, obviously being from England I looked up to her and a few others when I was younger. Gotten to know her the last couple years now and played with her a few times.

Definitely weird in that aspect, but it's been great, yeah. It's super fun playing with her.

Q. What will you do for the rest of tonight and how are you usually the night before a big day?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I'll just do a little bit of practise, eat. My whole family is here, so see them. Won't be teeing off until the afternoon tomorrow so have a bit of time to kill. Yeah, just hang out with them. Not really much else to do.

Q. I noticed quite a few of your club are here as well, yesterday and possibly today. That support and all the support you already have out here.

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it's great. They usually come to this event. The last few years they have. Support back at Farnham. The members are very supportive, and so not surprised to see a lot of them here.

Q. What's been the strength this week, Lottie?

LOTTIE WOAD: I think generally my iron play has been pretty good. Today was not probably as good as the other two days but it was more windy.

Yeah, I think that's probably my strength.

Q. What can you take from your experience in Wales last year on the weekend that you think will help you tomorrow?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I think just the more times you're in that position the more comfortable you get.

Like I know I can play well in this tournament and I have done the last two years and had that experience, you know, being in the mix. And even this year obviously a few weeks ago I was leading at Evian, so kind of could use that experience as well.

The more times you put the yourself in that position is obviously a good thing.

Q. What was the takeaway from Evian?

LOTTIE WOAD: There wasn't massive takeaways to be honest. Just one of those weeks where I didn't play great over the weekend, but nothing felt different. I felt going into it and just didn't really hit the shots.

So I think it was trying to see as many positives as possible. Still not played too many majors so it's still early days.

Q. Were new the bunker at the second or...

LOTTIE WOAD: No. I bogeyed the fifth. I just come out backwards of the...

Q. Oh, you had to come out backwards?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it was a good bogey. Made up and down from like 40 yards.

Q. How have you been out of the bunkers the last few days? (No microphone.)

LOTTIE WOAD: I don't think I went in a fairway one today, which is generally the key. The greenside are okay unless you get a lie like I got on the fifth. Made up and down from a few greenside ones today.

Q. You mentioned not playing so many majors yet. Does that in a way does -- having played more gives you more experience, but in a way it might benefit you and be an advantage to be going into things with I guess a more youthful sort of spirit?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I guess. I've played enough. I've played double figures majors now, so I've maybe not played as many as a pro I guess. Got to play quite a few as an amateur.

I think I've now been out here a year and played enough events and experienced being in those final groups that it feels enough experience to me. Might not feel like that to others, but to me it feels enough.

Q. Do you remember where you were when Georgia won here?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I was watching at home on the TV, yeah.

Q. What's your outstanding memory from that?

LOTTIE WOAD: I don't remember like too many of the shots to be honest. I was quite young. I just remember watching it the whole week. I remember it looked warmer. The weather looked good.

Q. Obviously played with Justin...

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, I've not played with him, but...

Q. He's helped you. How has he helped you most?

LOTTIE WOAD: I mean, he's just very supportive of women's golf. Obviously did the Rose Ladies Series and I played in some of those over COVID time. I think that was good for me, yeah.
