Q. Looking back on today’s round, what stood out to you?

AYAKA FURUE: The wind was strong from the start and it wasn’t easy to judge it out there, but I stayed focused all day, and both my shots and putting felt really solid. I think that’s what led to a bogey-free round, and to shoot six under on such a challenging links course is something I'm really happy with.

Q. Was there anything different today compared to the first two rounds?

AYAKA FURUE: My shots had been a little inconsistent over the past two days, but today I hit a lot more quality shots. That was definitely the biggest difference.

Q. What do you want to focus on tomorrow, and what’s your goal?

AYAKA FURUE: I think the best thing I can do is keep playing the way I did today. I want to stay in a good rhythm, keep my concentration throughout the round, and do everything I can to move further up the leaderboard.
