Q. Kajsa, making quite easy work of the majors; second start and heading towards a second cut. How did you find things out there?
KAJSA AREFJALL: I played well today. I think hit a lot of fairways, a lot of greens, so it was -- I wasn't in too much trouble, which is always good.
Q. Bogey-free around here is always impressive. What was working so well for you out there?
KAJSA AREFJALL: Well, I think what I said. I was just hitting it well. Wasn't necessarily very close to the pins, but I think sometimes it's hard to get close to the pins. But then my speed on my long putts was very well, so, yeah.
Q. You hit a lovely bunker shot on the 18th there to save par. There are a lot of bunkers out here. How have you found the challenge the pot bunkers?
KAJSA AREFJALL: Some of them are deep. Like on the par-5 there, what is it, four, five? Six I think. I was in the greenside bunker and that one is so deep. I was just thinking just, please just get out.
No, but I think it's good. I mean, I've stayed away from them so far, just two I think. So, yeah, they're trouble if you're in them, but so far I'm doing good.
Q. Only your second major; made the cut at Evian. Heading into this week did you have any expectations? What was the goal for this week?
KAJSA AREFJALL: The goal was obviously to make the cut as well, but then maybe try to get a better place than I did at Evian. That would be very fun.
But I would say I don't really think too much about it. I just play the best I can and we'll see how it ends up.
Q. How have you found the experience here at AIG Women's Open? It looks from a player perspective absolutely incredible. Like some of the facilities, some of the services, are on another level.
KAJSA AREFJALL: Yeah.
Q. How have you found the whole week?
KAJSA AREFJALL: When I came I was like, oh, my God, this is just crazy. Everything that they built, it's so big. The food is amazing. You can pick pretty much anything. It just feels very professional and very good and a lot bigger than what I've played before.
So I think it's very fun to be here. I came here before my parents, and when they arrived I just texted them -- or before they arrived I was like, oh, my God, you guys are going love it here.
So no, it's just great. It's wonderful.
Q. Stick on that theme. Your dad is on the bag again. How is the dynamic between you both?
KAJSA AREFJALL: It's very good. Obviously I really like to have him on the bag. He can help me and feel very -- I can chat some Swedish to him and no one will understand.
No, it's just very great and I really enjoy it. Same with Evian. My mom is here walking the site and we'll see if my brother might come for the weekend.
Q. Nice. As I said, major weekend pending. You're a good position. Would like to get a good draw. How excited are you for the challenge?
KAJSA AREFJALL: I think it will be very fun. I mean, I say fun a lot, but I think golf is just fun. I'm very excited to see what I actually can perform and we'll see how the weather holds up. I feel like that could really change things out here.
