Q. Well done on the 17th.

ROBYN CHOI: Thank you.

Q. 1-under par. What were the highlights of that round for you today?

ROBYN CHOI: I think I just really drived it well. Tried to avoid all the pot bunkers out there. I think that was kind of huge.

But just trying to keep steady golf, try not to make mistakes. I think trying to not make bogey is kind of the key out here than trying to play aggressive and making birdies.

So just tried to stick to that game plan.

Q. You're going to make the cut. That was number one goal coming in, was it?

ROBYN CHOI: Yeah, so, I mean, even after shooting even yesterday I was kind of a little nervous just knowing how tough the conditions can get out here. You know, just because I played well yesterday doesn't mean I'll continue to play well today.

But thankfully I did, and, yeah, honestly, main goal was to make the cut. To be kind of playing out there well as well was kind of great.

Q. The overall scoring today seems tougher out there than yesterday. Is that fair? Is it just...

ROBYN CHOI: I think so. I just think that the wind is kind of blowing a little bit more harder than yesterday. I played afternoon yesterday, but it kind of calmed down a little bit. There was phases where it blew and calmed off a little bit.

I think there was constant wind out there today and a little bit stronger as well.

Q. It's been your first AIG Women's Open. What's the experience overall been like?

ROBYN CHOI: Honestly, it's been great. It is kind of what I have been expecting: Tough conditions, major, windy.

But, you know, I think I feel like after playing the two rounds I feel like my game is going to improve a lot just playing in this kind of condition. I've never really played in this style golf course. I mean, in Australia, but I still feel like it's kind of different.

Yeah, I think I'll just become a better players honestly after playing in those tough conditions.

Q. You've obviously played in other major championships. Can you sense the difference here, the links feel to it or just the overall...

ROBYN CHOI: Well, I think other major courses it's more like the setup of how they set up the pins and everything is kind of difficult.

I feel like out here it's really the course conditions really. Just the wind and, you know, playing -- if it's playing downwind, can play into wind the next day, and it's a totally different golf course.

It's an Open as well and the wind just really takes affect of a lot. So just trying to control the ball really was the big key, yeah.

Q. Lastly, you're obviously in a good position on the leaderboard. Tomorrow another good score and you could really push on.

ROBYN CHOI: Yeah, I mean, hopefully. Hopefully I'll get that good round in again. You know, I don't really want to focus on it too much. Just play one shot at a time like I did today and hopefully the results will come.
