Q. Lauren, yeah, came through Final Qualifying. How has the experience been this week?

LAUREN CRUMP: Yeah, no, it's been amazing. Like to think that I would be here from the start of the week is just amazing and I've enjoyed every minute of it.

What the R&A put on, it's just amazing and the events is set up really good.

Q. You said to me there camera you felt bit of a difference today, day one to day two. Can you kind of talk through the experience of those two days?

LAUREN CRUMP: Yeah, so yesterday I tee'd off quite late and the wind kind of dropped a lot, so the last four holes were kind of playing easier than the practise round.

Today was like a whole different day. It was like the last four holes straight into wind and it's like it's hard to get it there kind of thing.

So, yeah, definitely the change in the two rounds is definitely proving in the scores.

Q. And tell us about the first tee yesterday. How nervous were you? How excited were you for that first tee shot?

LAUREN CRUMP: The night before I was like really excited and then I kind of got on the tee and I was like oh, my God. It was like, please just get it on the green.

No, like the crowd's always there to support, so it's just amazing to have that feeling.

Q. Is it hard to start on a par-3 as well?

LAUREN CRUMP: Yeah. Yeah, I like a good par-5 start, but then the par-3 I was like, okay, it's just fine, so...

Q. Talked about support. Who have you had here supporting you?

LAUREN CRUMP: Like everyone. My family and my whole county. Like everyone came. It's been amazing.

Q. You must be really proud the fact that I actually think you about pre-qualifying. Tell us the whole journey even to get here. You played a lot of golf just to be here.

LAUREN CRUMP: Yeah, no, my practise round for pre-qualifying was actually the flight I came back from European Girls, so that was just nine holes and it was really rushed.

But then to get through pre-qualifying with the score I did was like pretty good.

And then, yeah, it's been like nonstop, and then I got to Final Qualifying and it was like, come on, one big push. Yeah, here I am, so...

Q. Yeah, and it keeps the season going that you've. You've had a lot of great results domestically. You must've just felt the confidence you got has helped you coming here as well?

LAUREN CRUMP: Yeah, no, my confidence has definitely improved, even coming from pre-qualifying and shooting the score I did against some really good people. And then, yeah, kind of showed like the first tee where like I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be.

But, no, definitely that confidence that I can be here with the best players.

Q. And just lastly, you've probably got a nervous wait now. Did you feel going out today, you know +3, +4, +5, or just kind of one shot at a time?

LAUREN CRUMP: I kind of had a number in my head. I thought +4 would be guaranteed. But, no, I think it's just not getting too far ahead of myself. Like my coaches have said, just to take it one shot at a time and think through each shot and give each shot the best I can.

Q. I think for your future career, whatever happens in the next few hours, whether or not you make the cut or not -- obviously hopefully you do -- but the experience, what's the type of experiences you'll take away from this week?

LAUREN CRUMP: That I can compete with some of the best players. Even the girls I played with I gained so much experience from them, dealing like when to go for a shot, when to just get a par, do you know what I mean?

Yeah, a lot of valuable experience there.
