Washington D.C.
Press Conference
R. JODAR/K. Nishikori
6-3, 6-2
THE MODERATOR: Talk to us about tonight's match and then your history with Washington as a former champion here and what you might miss?
KEI NISHIKORI: Well, it was tough match. Didn't play well. I didn't feel the ball today somehow, but he played well. He served well, big serve, big forehand. Wasn't easy to play.
THE MODERATOR: Can you just talk to us about your history with Washington as a former champion and what you might miss about this tournament?
KEI NISHIKORI: Yeah, I mean, it's always love to play this tournament. I have good memory. Played many times here, and I love the feeling of the center court atmosphere. The crowd is always nice. It was just shame to not play good today.
THE MODERATOR: What's next for you on your schedule, and what are you looking forward to as you close out your career?
KEI NISHIKORI: I'm going Canada next week.
