AIG WOMEN'S OPEN

July 30, 2026

Yealimi Noh

Lancashire, England, UK

Mixed Zone

Q. Good playing today.

YEALIMI NOH: Thank you.

Q. Did you like this golf course the first time you played it?

YEALIMI NOH: I did. I thought it was really interesting and challenging, and thankfully the sun came up over the last few days. It's been nice to not be shivering.

I actually thought it was going to be pretty warm, and then I came here and I realized I only brought like three jackets.

Q. The last couple majors not the result you wanted. What have you found this week?

YEALIMI NOH: I think just a refresh mentally. I've been really grinding over the last few months and not seeing the results that I wanted, and then just getting really stressed over the ball and at the golf course.

So just going back home the last few weeks and just coming here with a fresh start. I'm really happy to put a solid round in today.

Q. Was it a swing thought that you have in your mind that's helping you now?

YEALIMI NOH: A little bit, but, I mean, when did you not have swing thoughts? I always have swing thoughts. I think just feeling a little better, just calmer over the ball, letting it happen instead of trying to force it.

Q. What was the best shot you hit today?

YEALIMI NOH: Best shot I hit today? Probably 14, second shot. Wind left to right, pretty strong, and hit a draw into the wind with my 7-iron to like three feet I think, which I'm usually not really a drawer, so that was nice to see.

Q. Did you like links golf when you first played it or did it take a while?

YEALIMI NOH: No, I love it. I think it's super fun, something we don't get too often in the States and it's a fun challenge. It's cool to see the ball roll like a lot too. It's really firm out there. So just finding your way around the course, around the bunkers.

Q. Does the long putter, I am curious, in the wind help you at all?

YEALIMI NOH: No. I actually thought the opposite the last few times I've been over here. I thought that I'm swinging the whole club so my body is moving a lot when it's really windy. You know, you're moving and then you have to whack this thing around too, so it's hard to just hit it. When -- especially when the greens are slower. Like I struggled at St Andrews when it was really slow. The greens are faster here, so that's nice.

Q. Thank you.

YEALIMI NOH: Yeah.
