Quick Quotes
Q. Started the day seven shots behind needing something special to get into the mix. How does it feel to get exactly that with a 3-under?
PETER BAKER: Yeah, obviously delighted with the finish. Had a great finish. Missed a short putt on 13, and I sort of reacted really well to it. Hit a lot of good shots coming in and made a lot of putts which is a big difference.
Q. One over through 13 holes, steady but not spectacular in different conditions on that front nine. Obviously that run of four birdies in the last five has taken you right into contention. What are you thinking as that was unfolding?
PETER BAKER: Just keep trying to make birdies, really. Like I said, I'm so far behind. Just make a lot of birdies coming in to make it and give myself a chance for tomorrow. It was one of those, really. Could have gone either way of course. But you keep going and hopefully you hole some putts and you get yourself back into it.
Q. Obviously going to have a chance to win the Senior Open championship tomorrow. Some would try and block that out and others would use it as fuel. How will be approaching it?
PETER BAKER: Yeah, definitely I'm 58. Took me a long while to get a of winning anything adds big as that. I'm going to enjoy it. That's what you practice for and keep going for even as a senior, really, to give yourself a chance to win the big ones. Definitely going to go out there and just give it my best shot tomorrow.
