Q. Looked like a battle out there and you hung tough and got through quite a difficult day. Can you talk a little bit about it?

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it was pretty windy at the start. Made an early double. So dropped two there obviously. Hit some really nice iron shots kind of for the rest of the day, fairways and greens. Didn't really make any putts to be honest with you. I could have shot a lot better but I was much more happy with how I hit it today compared to yesterday.

Q. And you're well-played just outside the Top ten to make a surge over the weekend. You must feel quite proud, not having everything dropping that you wanted.

LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, definitely. Still a fair bit back but the weather is not going to be great over the weekend. I think a lot can change. So just going to get go hit some putts now and just keep trying to play well this weekend.

Q. Your first professional defence, have you felt a little bit of additional pressure or have you settled into?

LOTTIE WOAD: I think honestly there's less pressure for me than last year coming into this event. A lot of pressure, pro debut after amateur stuff. More relaxed this year to be honest.
