Q. A round of 4-under today to be in second place here in Scotland. A bogey-free round. Tell us what you were doing well out there.

ESTHER HENSELEIT: Yeah, just very steady. Didn't really get into trouble off the tee. Hit a lot of green. Just had a lot of 25- to 30-footers, a lot of two-putts. Yeah, pretty steady day out there.

Q. I know that eagle on the scorecard, similar to yesterday, different to yesterday?

ESTHER HENSELEIT: Pretty much exactly the same. Yeah, hit the fairway. It was another 5-iron today, so it was a bit longer. But yeah, hit it on to the green and holed a 30-footer, so that was fun.

Q. In terms of wind conditions compared to yesterday, were they a little bit easier today?

ESTHER HENSELEIT: I mean, I would say we got like a nice stretch. We just started our second nine of like five holes but it was really nice with a bunch of wind. Other than that, I think it was similar to yesterday.

Yeah, the pins were probably a little bit more gettable today.

Q. And just staying patient and not getting into trouble, how easy was it to focus on doing that during the round when you have some wind and you're just trying to make sure that you stay in the fairway?

ESTHER HENSELEIT: I feel like it's playing much harder than we've seen it in the past, makes it easier to stay disciplined and not really chase for birdies out there, and just take your chances when they come.

So yeah, I would say it just helps but it's pretty hard to get the ball close to the flag.

Q. In terms of the greens this year, Jenny was saying they are receptive coming in. Obviously they are a bit firmer than before. How are you finding them?

ESTHER HENSELEIT: For sure, they are definitely firm. With wedges downwind, you just you can't stop them. Yeah, that's links golf.

Q. Feels like you relish the challenge of links golf.

ESTHER HENSELEIT: Yeah, it is nice to actually see this golf course play as a links course. I feel like the last few years, it was always super soft, and it was just like target golf with a lot of wind, and now you actually have to think about your shots, have to think about the bounces, and yeah, I always enjoy doing it. I don't want to do it every week of the year but two weeks of the year, it's definitely fun.
