Quick Quotes
Q. Level-par 70, a little bit up-and-down. How do you reflect on that one?
PĂDRAIG HARRINGTON: I played very nicely during the front nine, being the hard nine. 1-under was quite good. Hit a bad iron shot into 10 and hit the camera there and ricocheted into some rubbish. Made 6.
Hit a bad drive on 12 and couldn't hole the putt. I just tried to stay patient. Nice to birdie the last to get back it level par.
Obviously not my best day but you know, it's that sort of golf course out there. You can feel -- get a bit cautious and intimidated. There's lots of trouble. Look, I'm a long way back at the moment, but there are 54 holes, so. If I free up a little bit, maybe I'll catch up.
Q. You said yesterday you were expecting a tough test. Is that the fact that if you stray off the fairways into the rough, you can find some really horrible stuff?
PĂDRAIG HARRINGTON: As I said, Alex hit a shot to the par 3, 15 not far off down the fairway little short and he hit a provisional after. You can really find some trouble. I think it's out there. I think if I didn't wore-about, it I'd be better off, you know what I mean. It's not like you're -- yeah. If I do free up and not worry about it, I'd be a lot better off but that's always the battle when you're playing golf. If you have a clear mind, you'd be the best player in the world.
Q. Walking in, you were hobbling, was the knee playing up?
PĂDRAIG HARRINGTON: I had an excellent day with both of my knees. I had a lot of trouble in Scotland, affects me playing golf a little bit yesterday and the day before, but today, it's fine.
