Q. Here with Jenny after the final round here in Scotland. Can you talk about your round? You said you took the most of the birdie opportunities. Did you pick up on that throughout today's round?

JENNY SHIN: This golf course, tee shots are pretty crucial. So I really focused on getting my tee shots on the fairway, and it's really dried out. So it's playing a little shorter than the years past when it was quite wet out here.

And the fact I was able to reach the par 5s and take advantage of making the birdies there, and having a few 58-degree coming into the green helped. I was able to get my ball within 15 feet and when I did have the chance for birdie, I did make it. So it was a good day.

Q. Always nice to have that. What you're saying about the tee shots, is this a course where you're thinking shot-by-shot, like taking your time out there, is that what your mindset is?

JENNY SHIN: Yes and no. It is a links golf course. You just don't know where the ball is going to bounce to. No. 8, I had a really good tee shot, couldn't have hit it any better and still ended up in the left rough. It's a little bit of luck with the links.

So I think the secret is to just be in acceptance of whatever happened.

Q. How did you prepare for the links golf this week? Was there anything that you did last week to get ready for this? Obviously Evian is a little different from this.

JENNY SHIN: Yeah, I had a vacation in Sweden last week and the golf courses that I played were very linksy. So that was a very pleasant surprise. It was along the water. So a lot of wind, as well. And yeah, I guess I practised well. Definitely paid off today. So hopefully I can keep it up for the next three days.

Q. Anything you've done while you're here in Scotland you've tried different? Obviously probably not your first time here but anything you've kind of done. Have you driven or eaten any different kind of food?

JENNY SHIN: No, I've been here so many times, I've been driving around this entire area without navigation because I know my way around Troon and Ayre and all that. It feels very familiar.

I did play Royal Troon the first day, Monday, and that was a lot of fun. It brought back memories of our British Open back in 2021, I think -- was it 2021? Yeah, something like that. So that's the only thing I did differently.

Q. Do you think the comfortabilitity has helped?

JENNY SHIN: I mean, I don't know. That depends.
