Quick Quotes
Q. Round of 2-over to start today. Obviously we know it's really blustery out there. What was it like going off the first?
LOTTIE WOAD: Yeah, it was definitely -- that front nine was very difficult. It was pretty strong from the get-go go. I think it pretty much stayed the same all day.
There was a few interesting possibility placements on the front nine with the wind, and tough to get it close really and didn't make enough putts to really be under par. But for me, 2-over is not disastrous. Still going to be in it. A day of not trying to play yourself out of it, really.
Q. A day where you knew mistakes were going to be there because of the conditions. What was it like to bounce back and get those birdies when you could?
LOTTIE WOAD: I was 3-over through four, so played under par the rest of the day, which is pretty solid. Just yeah, a bad lie can add up to a double around here.
And yeah, just tried to hit more fairways, more greens and you're definitely going to miss some greens. I made good up-and-downs on the back nine.
Just, yeah, really just 6-footers and in were really important today and not easy with the wind. So just trying to read the lines on those.
Q. In that group with Nelly and Charley, massive crowd at the end. How good was that to have everyone out there?
LOTTIE WOAD: It was great. I'm sure we'll get a few more tomorrow in the afternoon. It's always nice, they are great players. It was a fun round.
Q. Could you hear your family today? Were they out watching?
LOTTIE WOAD: They were here. I didn't really see them. Can't really hear much with the wind to be honest but yeah, they are here.
