Q. Great to have you back at the Senior Open. How excited are you to defend your title this week?

PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON: Excited. A little bit of, obviously, trepidation, stress, when you're ever defending. You're trying to get yourself ready for the tournament. Try to get everything covered, and you know, that's kind of what Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday are a little bit like. Can't wait for it to start tomorrow and get going.

Q. How proud are you last year to become just the fifth player to win The Open and Senior Open at Sunningdale?

PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON: It was a big deal for me. Having won the real Open, you want to back it up and win the Senior one. I'm surprised I was only the fifth player to do it, but it meant a lot to me to get that double.

Q. Your thoughts on the Kings Course?

PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON: It's in great condition. It's pretty tight in places. I'll be happy if I finish this week without losing a golf ball, put it like that. If I can manage, that, I'll probably be pretty competitive. It's reasonably wide fairways in places, a few narrow ones, but you miss in certain places, if you miss a few yards, you're in high fern. You want to hit the ball straight this week, and if you do, I don't know if the wind and rain is going to come in, but it's a very a pleasant golf course if you hit the fairways.

Q. Fantastic form, picking up your fourth senior major title coming into this month. How much confidence does that coming into this week?

PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON: Yeah, I feel good about my game. I've had a bit of a blowout the last couple of weeks with the main tour. I don't know if it's trying too hard or fell out of form but I feel about now. I kind of worked through a few things. Looking forward to getting out there and being a little bit more in my own comfort zone.
