Q. Looked like it was tough out there. Talk about the fact that you're still there, still in the mix. What was the mindset to stay there and battle?
JACKSON SUBER: Yeah, even par definitely keeps me in it. I've still got a chance tomorrow.
Q. Do you feel comfortable there? Is it something that intimidation makes you nervous, or do you think that's the way it should be?
JACKSON SUBER: No, I feel comfortable. I feel like I've been in contention a lot the last few months and just gotten really comfortable with the situation and just kind of keep trusting what I'm working on and hope it pays off.
Q. Tell us about the fans; what was the best experience today?
JACKSON SUBER: Yeah, they were yelling at me. They had a song like Fireball which they were singing for Suber. I can't recite it.
Q. Because you can't remember?
JACKSON SUBER: No, I'm too tired for it.
Q. Have you played much links golf before this week?
JACKSON SUBER: No.
Q. What about your game makes it so suitable to these courses?
JACKSON SUBER: I think I'm a pretty good iron player, and just having to hit a lot of irons off tees is important and long irons into greens. I hit it pretty high, so I feel like if I need to hit it soft, I can.
Q. What about around the greens? Have you had to adapt your game to the green complexes?
JACKSON SUBER: Yeah, I grew up at a Donald Ross course in Tampa, and there was a lot of runoffs and very tight Bermuda, which was a little grainier. Here you don't have to worry about the grain but it's definitely a little firmer. I feel like my chipping motion works well here.
Q. With the song that they sing, are these people that you know or just fans?
JACKSON SUBER: They're fans. I feel like I know them now, though, after today.
Q. And maybe after tomorrow, as well?
JACKSON SUBER: Maybe.
Q. You might share a drink with them after the round on Sunday?
JACKSON SUBER: Maybe.
