Quick Quotes
Q. Congratulations for making it to the championship match tomorrow. Can you first talk about your match this morning and then talk about your match this afternoon?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: Yeah, let me think about my match this morning. It feels so long ago.
My match this morning, it went pretty good. I think I honestly played solid all day. I mean, the first match I didn't have any bogeys, I don't think. The second match, I made one bogey but still was able to win the hole.
First match, though, I felt like it was kind of just getting into the groove for the day to prepare for this afternoon and to get out there and win this match, yeah.
Q. Do you feel like you take into account the reactions of your opponent as you're going throughout a match? Like looking at your opponent, seeing how she's reacting, does that play a factor at all into how you approach the holes and how you approach the match?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: Kind of, yeah. Obviously it's kind of hard not to acknowledge, but from my point of view, I just kind of view it as she was kind of struggling, I would say. So, again, just trying to stick to my game plan and focus on myself, and then kind of whatever she does, I can't really control.
Q. Obviously you played in a lot of USGA Championships. This is the first time you've reached the finals in a USGA Championship. How are you feeling? How excited are you? What are you kind of expecting out of tomorrow?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: I'm so excited honestly. I'm just happy to have made it this far. I've been playing some amazing golf, so I definitely think I can get it done tomorrow.
Again, whatever happens, I'll be happy with the outcome.
Q. How are you looking to prepare for tomorrow?
AMELIE ZALSMAN: Just kind of go chill. I'm pretty tired from the past two days playing 36 holes, and tomorrow's also going to be another 36. I think it's just getting my body rested so it can perform to the best of its abilities tomorrow.
