Q. Another good round, solid. Given the conditions --
THOMAS DETRY: It was a little windier than I had yesterday morning. Still not a crazy amount of wind, but definitely closer to what I practiced on the first three days.
Amazing. Honestly, I'm really happy with the way I battled out there. I didn't really get off to a good start. It was a bit of a rocky start with the bogey on 1 and a bogey on 4, then an eagle; amazing to get back into it. I followed the eagle with a double. I had to be a bit careful there, but I managed to squeeze my game a little bit better towards the end.
It was nice to birdie 7 and 9, get the front nine even par and then a beautiful putt on the par-3, 15, to finish the round under par, which was pretty good considering the start I had.
Q. Can you describe that eagle?
THOMAS DETRY: Actually, you know, it's a bit of a funky hole, No. 5, because with that wind, a driver is a little bit too much, and a 3-wood is just not quite enough. The wind started to switch a little bit more into off the right, so for me it was just the perfect drive. I knew that I could just hit it flat out and it might just trickle over but not with with any pace. It was literally just the perfect distance. I just hit a nice full drive. It was straight at it, probably caught a good bounce just in front of the green. I think I must have had like a 12-footer for eagle. It was a really nice little breaker.
Q. Is there something about this golf course or these conditions that is working for you?
THOMAS DETRY: No. I mean, this is my favourite major. I really enjoy it. My wife loves it, as well. It's just a fun week. I'm just really trying to stick to my game plan. We've been really committed with my caddie to just take the bunkers out of play, and I feel like we've done an amazing job so far, and I think that's going to be the key for the next two days.
